
Dami Thompson is an experienced investment professional with over 15 years of expertise in venture capital, entrepreneurship, and strategic operations across global and emerging markets. She has led and executed VC investments across the entire value chain, and executed business and market expansion strategies for tech and tech-enabled companies.
Dami served as Vice President and Global Head of Emerging Markets at Trade X, a US and Canadian technology company, where she successfully spearheaded market entry operations into Africa, the Middle East, Japan, and Latin America. Prior to that, Dami was Vice President of Investments and Corporate Development at EchoVC Partners, a venture capital fund investing globally in tech and tech-enabled businesses. In addition to her role as Vice President, she served as General Counsel for the fund. At EchoVC Partners, she managed a diverse portfolio of over 40 tech startups across multiple continents and served on several boards while leading investments in sectors like mobility, fintech, SaaS, logistics, healthcare, and infrastructure.
During her tenure at EchoVC, she also co-founded Grupa, a tech talent matching and productivity platform to ensure easy and cost-effective access to technical talent for US startups. She also co-founded Ventures Dialogue, a non-profit organization that has trained over 1,300 entrepreneurs in investment readiness, growth strategy, and management training programs, including implementing a program for women founders.
Dami holds graduate degrees in Business Law and Technology from UC Berkeley, and a Master's in Business Administration from William Jessup University, San Jose. Dami is also an angel investor in 28
startups globally.

Amber Fowler is an accomplished executive leader with a robust background in technology, finance, venture capital, and regulatory strategy, with a distinct passion for advancing equitable innovation and community-centered impact. Amber served as Strategic Advisor at Agtonomy from 2021 to 2024, where she contributed to strategic growth in the agtech and autonomous vehicle sectors. Prior to that, she held the position of Managing Partner and Chief Operating Officer at CTR Capital Fund from 2019 to 2022, overseeing fund operations and investment strategy. Her expertise in finance was also demonstrated during her tenure as Director of Finance at the Ethereum Foundation between 2018 and 2019, a pivotal time in the growth of blockchain technology, where she supported decentralized innovation from Zug, Switzerland.
Amber’s most notable early impact came during her time as Partner and COO at EchoVC Partners from 2012 to 2016, where she played a central role in building the firm's operations across Silicon Valley and Sub-Saharan Africa, catalyzing investments in underserved markets and helping to shape the future of tech entrepreneurship on the continent. Before that, she was Vice President of Finance at Founders Fund, where she gained deep experience in venture capital fund administration and finance.
